If you want to be wealthy stop trying to impress people.
A SMART money goal:
A lot of people have a general desire to be wealthy. Instead they should have Specific, Measurable, Actionable, Realistic, and Time-bound money goals.
Saying one wants to be a multi-millionaire is not enough, saying one wants to have a net worth of $5 million in seven years is SMART.
Even better, one should determine a SMART giving goal. Something that he is not able to do currently.
Example: earn $1 million a year in seven years to give $100,000 every year to ___________.
As yourself: what would more money allow me to do that I am not able to do currently? Is the goal worthwhile? Why? How would it help me to accomplish my life purpose?
